The certificate in writing pedagogy , which functions like a graduate minor, provides opportunities for UCLA graduate students to enhance their teaching abilities, theoretical knowledge of language and composition pedagogies, and their job market potential.

All graduate students who are interested in teaching writing and language are eligible to participate. Program Requirements: The certificate requires 16 units of coursework and at least one quarter teaching language or writing ESL, language, first-year composition or Writing II. The Collegium of University Teaching Fellows CUTF is an innovative program that creates unique learning opportunities for both graduate students and undergraduate students on campus.

Graduate students with at least 3 quarters of teaching experience at UCLA who would like to design and teach an undergraduate course on their dissertation topic and research. Applications are welcome from students in all UCLA graduate programs.

Program requirements: Applicants must have advanced to candidacy by the beginning of the academic year they are teaching. Applications open in December and are due in February for teaching appointments in the following year. Fellows selected for the program are required to attend a mandatory spring workshop and a Fall Pedagogy Seminar prior to teaching their course. What is the Cluster TA ship?
