Behold ii update 2.2

Am I suppose to have all my concerns go away about future updates now that they are doing this? Especially when most of the negative posts about the SGS are about future update worries. Do we give them brownie points for trying? Or is it going to take a lawsuit in the future to get an update on the SGS as well? Why is this being treated as GOOD news?

Phone not sleeping? Battery lasting a pittance? Random freezes during a call? Double Check! Definitely, check! And all of you fools.. Hate the phone! Try buying a Mytouch3G on ebay, then resell your Behold2 on ebay. You should make out ok. I just think insted of dealing with a phone you hate so much, sell it. That way it causes you less grief. Cus unlike everyone else in the world I like Motoblur.

Behold 2 is better than mytouch. Also mytouch 3d without 3. I know! I want an update for my G1!!! Give us a partial upgrade then! As the first adopters, we deserve it! I am a behold user and wish that they would have done more with it. I bet you will be VERY unhappy with 2. All it will do it take up more memory, slow your phone to a craw, and more freeze prone.

I might be wrong but the b2 is the last tmo phone to get 1. Its pretty lame how samsucks fix for the whole 2. Only another 19 months until my b2 can be thrown in the garbage…. Actually the Cliq and Cliq XT still are running 1. So the Cliqs are still behind the Behold2 at being the last handsets running 1. Although they are getting the 2. Still this 1. Any Behold 2 users in here that knows if the update is working? I got the 1. I rarely had a force closer error and if I did it was on a marketplace app.

This is just a little disconcerting. I heard from other users that you must have 3G on and using standard TouchWiz not anything else like Openhome, pandahome, ect.

Basically 2. Well I have yet to see an update notification, so I say double FAIL, one for a crap update, and 2 for not even giving it when you say its available, I suppose I will get it on the very last day it being aired…about my luck.

AndyA Representative said no… but how many times have they failed to know the correct iformation. I have a question. Do I really have to back up my info because it will wipe my phone? Android saves contacts on internet. Lots apps saves things in sd card.

You will need to load apps again anyway though it would save few min of download time if you have it on sd card. My bluetooth headset will start ringing and maybe a couple of seconds later the phone itself will ring. Since I still have not received the firmware update, I probably will not get the 1.

Also, your phone cannot be rooted. So if any of those 3 things apply to you, no update will be coming your way. I just did a factory reset on my phone to make it more likely to receive the update.

Good question. Ill let you know as I keep using it through out the day if i get any problems like the previous post did. Wunako Where are you located? City or rural area?

I live in outer city of houston texas, yea ive notticed that i have friend who has behold and he hasnt recieved it either… So far update isnt anything major i havnt notticed anything bad but its only been a day,. Oh I got another question. I heard that in order for the behold 2 to get updated into 1. I had a really long discussion with a T-Mobile rep trying to get him to answer that question.

Basically he said that I just had to wait, and it might show up sometime in the next month, or it might not. I wanted to know how if my phone had been skipped for the initial firmware or if I might still receive it, but he was totally useless. Samsung got something else coming if they think this is going to make every one happy, im sure some will be even more mad then before. Stayed up all night last night to check for the update and yet I get none…. I feel that none of them really care about us.

Its now the 26th.. I just called Tmobile Customer Service. I called today and they said it should be coming out soon and that Andriod is the one who puts it out.. I want my damn money back or another phone that will run the 2.

I just called Tmobile as well, and the customer service lady was telling me that once you installed home replacement i. I know its suck a pain to go through all that, but I would rather receive the 1. SIGH , so yea, I restored it to the factory setting.

The lady said that i should receive 1. I will let you guys know if I have the luck from now on. Anyway can someone answer that question does a factory reset get rid of the Feb. I just spoke with a t-mobile rep that basically told me that I was lying about the 2.

X update. I say all willing BH2 owners organize a paticular day where we all march into our TMO stores and make a big stink.. I wish someone with time would actually go forward with some type of suit. I am tired of being called a liar. I just want what I was promised. Yea, I just read today about 1. I refuse to do a factory reset, unless they guarantee me the update immediately, I can live with 1.

I know off topic.. I recived the update, but i have to say over all my experiance with the Behold 2 has been very disapointing. OK so I tried forcing the update as I have read about, by using Anycut to start device management. I get the little arrows for a few seconds and then nothing.. This whole BH2 crap has been like Tmobiles biggest failure to support or even care about customers who got lied to by samsung and now apparantly being lied to by Tmobile themselves.

Update to roll out th from 11pm-6am….. Im close…. Hey to all Behold 2 owners! I got a free upgrade as a result. This is sufficient. You can sell your behold at list or a little less. Get it while you can!

Sent a strongly worded email to these email addresses with my phone number and got a response in one day! Alling t-mobile. Brodman t-mobile. Birrer t-mobile. Ray t-mobile. I just sent one too, although I tried to be polite, but still convey my concerns about the BH2.

Make clear And logical accusations that you were sold a phone that was described as being upgrade beyond 2. I got the update on the 25th of june and it crashed my phone. I also received the update, and installed it and now cannot get on wireless networks Wifi and the phone always says no reception. I did a factory reset from the settings menu and still have both problems.

I am going to try to find an image online and see if I can reset everything that way. Certainly you are not that much of a loser that you have tremendous amounts of free time. Maybe they added Waldo because the game developer paid them a fee.

Fees generate income which pay developers to get 2. SD card is an easy fix … go buy a Kingston. Never had vibrating issues. Never had an issue with return email address. Could give 2 shits about a boot load animation or midnight bowling or where the fuck Waldo is.

Super slow performance. I am guess it is due to the touch wiz crap. Making message notification when there is none in the inbox boht SMS and e-mail client 3. Phone stop charging about an hour ago.

So I learned to love what I had. I guess its growing on me. I still hate the Keyboard tho. I still need to replace it. You know…. Swype is amazing on this phone… much quicker than punching in individual letters and its scary accurate and most of all its FREE!

Use GDE as your home application I mean jesus man there is a reason that there are home apps and an android market learn 2 use android….. My behold 2 runs flawlessly other than SD Card rebooting which apparently after these updates should be fixed. With GDE your phone will run twice as fast. To me it makes it feel more tactial. Oh Yeah, I also like the little notification sounds my phone makes when i get a txt or plug in usb.

They make me happy despite the flaws of the phone. Its like im pissed at it but then im happy when I hear the little sound. I like my happy little phone. Galaxy was too bland and too many problems. I had this phone really liked it except for the memory card problem the constant notification of it being in and out plus the notification tone being changed once the card was re-read.. I will say this phone never ran slow for me everything else I was real happy with. Maybe you dont need an android phone if you are having such problems with a phone that ran pretty much smoothly and barely had any force closes with it.

Wish they would have fixed the exchange problem MUCH sooner!
